Agreement
By placing a reservation with Windansea Transportation, you acknowledge and expressly agree to the following policies, terms and conditions contained herein. All references made as “we” under these Terms and Conditions shall be referring to Windansea Transportation.
Rates
All rates are subject to change at our discretion. Our current rates for sedans and SUVs can be found through our online reservation system. If a larger vehicle is provided for the reservation at our discretion, the rate will not be adjusted unless the additional capacity is used.
A 20% gratuity is included in the final rate by default.
Wait Time - Airport Transfers
We monitor all inbound flights with the latest tracking software. We do not charge wait time penalties due to flight delays if the tracking number is provided for your reservation.
Wait Time - General
We offer a 15 minute grace period for all pick-ups that are not from the airport. Once the grace period has elapsed, wait time will be charged at $20 for up to the following 15 minutes. Any waiting time beyond 30 minutes after the reservation time will be charged at our prevailing hourly rate based on the vehicle reserved. Our hourly rates range from $80 - $180 per hour depending on vehicle type.
Stops
All stops must be arranged and approved in advance before pick-up occurs. There is a $20.00 fee per en-route stops as well as wait time at the en-route stop that exceeds 10 minutes. Additional fees apply for non en-route stops.
Confirmations and Modifications to Reservations
A confirmation email message is generated by our computer system. It is the booking contact's and/or the traveler’s responsibility to review the confirmation information for accuracy.
If there are any changes to your reservation (excluding cancellations) you are required to inform us at least 4 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time so we can confirm the change and send you via email a modified email confirmation. If a reservation change cannot be accommodated, the reservation will be cancelled and is subject to a full charge.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy
A 72 hour email cancellation notice prior to the scheduled pickup time is required to avoid all cancellation fees. Cancellations within 72 hours may be subject to a cancellation charge at our discretion, up to half the charge of the reservation. Failure to cancel within 12 hours of the reservation will result in a charge of the full reservation. To confirm your reservation has been cancelled, a cancellation confirmation will be sent to you from us via email.
If you cannot locate your chauffeur, call (858) 333-7977 immediately to avoid a No-Show charge. Failure to meet the chauffeur at the designated meeting area will result in a No-Show charge. A No-Show charge is the full amount of the reservation as shown on your confirmation email.
Cancellation Policy for reservations out of San Diego County

Conduct of Passengers
We reserve the right to refuse to transport persons under the influence of liquor, drugs or who are or are likely to become objectionable to other persons. In case of misconduct by the client or party of the client, our chauffeur has the right to terminate the charter without any refunds. Smoking is not permitted in any of the vehicles. Drug use is prohibited by law. It is illegal to stand through the sunroof of any vehicle. Any fines incurred due to the actions of the client or the client’s party members will be charged to the client’s credit card on file once the fine is received by us.
Vehicle Damage/Cleaning
Client shall hold us harmless and indemnify us from any personal or material damage, loss, injury, etc. arising from the conduct of his/her party. Client is responsible without exceptions for any and all repairs/cleaning (plus all downtime) resulting from acts of the client or client’s party including, but not limited to, burns, vomit/sickness, drink spillage, upholstery tears, etc. For Sedans, SUVs, and Vans, client will be charged a minimum of $300 for any repairs or mess that requires full sanitation and detailing. A minimum fee of $250 will be charged for each carpet or seat that is damaged, torn, burned, etc. The client shall undertake full financial responsibility for any damages to the vehicle caused by the client or any members of client’s party during the duration of the rental. Client also agrees that the passenger capacity of vehicle provided shall not exceed the seating capacity.
Liability
We will not be responsible for delays caused by road or traffic conditions, weather, mechanical failure, unsafe road conditions such as accidents, road closures or any other conditions beyond our control. In case of a delay caused by a mechanical breakdown of the vehicle, we will make up the lost time at a mutually agreed date and time with the client. We shall not bear any financial liability and no client shall claim any damages from us for delays caused by reasons beyond our control. Any expenses arising as a result of delayed departure or arrival times, including missed flights or travel connections, are the sole responsibility of the client.
Lost or Damaged Items
We are not responsible for lost or damaged items left in our vehicles. You can contact our office to report a lost item, we will make every effort to locate lost property. If an item is requested to be returned we reserve the right to charge full travel rate or shipping fee for delivering found items.
Business Partner Service Policy
We may use business partners or affiliates at our own discretion to provide transportation services for our clients. Business partners and affiliates shall follow these Terms and Conditions for providing the service.
